Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Therapy

An altered state, however it was occasioned, can loosen the grip of old patterns and offer a genuinely different vantage point on your life. But insight that isn't integrated tends to fade, or worse, gets metabolized in isolation, without support, into something confusing rather than clarifying. Integration is the work of taking what surfaced and actually letting it change how you live, and not it fading like the memory of a dream.

I have held senior clinical roles in psychedelic-assisted therapy settings (including Rise Wellness Retreats and Inner Path Wellness), and I offer preparation and integration support from a harm-reduction lens, meaning I meet you where you are, without judgment about what you've done or plan to do.

Do I need to be doing this through a clinical or legal program?

No. I work with people preparing for or returning from a range of experiences, legal psychedelic-assisted therapy programs, retreat settings, and personal use outside clinical settings. My role is to help you prepare thoughtfully and safely, and make meaning of what happens, wherever it happens.

What does preparation actually involve?

Setting intention, understanding what you're walking into, identifying medications or diagnosis that might impact your journey, what unprocessed material might surface, and building enough internal safety that if something difficult comes up, you're not meeting it for the first time mid-experience. We also talk logistics and mindset, set and setting isn't a cliché, it's the container the whole thing depends on.

I had a difficult or confusing experience. Can integration still help?

Often especially then. A hard journey isn't a failed one, sometimes the material that's hardest to sit with is exactly what needed to surface. We can work through what came up together, at whatever pace it needs.
